Where can I call in WiFi with cherry?
Everywhere on earth where you can access a WiFi hotspot with your compatible Smartphone, you can call with Cherry in WiFi. Belgium is in the Top 10 country using and covering WiFi. Mondial Telecom is developing several agreements to expand the WiFi coverage with partners who allow You to connect directly your smartphone in WiFi because You are a Cherry client. You can already use the network of our partner Citymesh, please check their WiFi coverage: www.citymesh.be.
Does cherry work with password protected WiFi?
Yes, you will need to enter the password the first time you connect to the network; for your next visits, your phone will reconnect automatically
Does cherry work with all routeurs?
Every WiFi modem (ADSL, Cable, HSxPA, etc.) which has a connectivity to the Internet can be used for Cherry. But there are two major exceptions occur with old routeurs who are not SIP compliants and with some routeurs who have certain firewalls or protection filters
Which broadband capacity do I need to place a call in WiFi?
Cherry uses approximately 40 kbits/sec.
Can I surf to my e-mail in WiFi during a Cherry call?
You can do whatever you want on your mobile phone while on a Cherry call. Simply press the 'home' button and access the application you want during your call (address book, email, etc.). Then return to Cherry to manage your call again. You can of course use a computer connected on the same WiFi as Cherry to browse the Internet while on a Cherry call.
Does Cherry help me to have a new WiFi access point at my office and/or at home?

Can I call if I have a WiFi coverage but no GSM coverage at Home, at the office?
Yes, You can. This is one of the major benefit of Cherry, You can call and receive call with your current mobile number via WiFi.

Can I call as long as in classical GSM with a WiFi SmartPhone using Cherry?
No, Cherry consumes slightly more battery power than a classical GSM call. On most mobiles, the calling time is reduced between 20 and 30%. It is therefore adviced to reload every night. But of course You have NoLimit to call thanks to Cherry.

Does cherry offer special rates for SMS?
Cherry offers a unique low rate of 0,10€ per sms. SMSs are sent over the classical GSM network, no WiFi connection required. For more information, please download the pricing list.
Does cherry offer special rates for mobile data?
On top of your cherry forfait, you can choose a mobile data option (from 0,50€ per Mb, also available in forfaits of 18€ and 30€). In most cases, you will also simply use the WiFi networks for free. For more information, please download the pricing list.
